Geraldines P. Moran GAA Club crest and visual identity redesigning
Geraldines P. Moran GAA Club, based in Foxrock and Cabinteely, looked to redesign their club crest to reflect their vision, values, and local heritage. The goal was to honour the club's rich history while aligning with its future aspirations in promoting Gaelic games.
The redesigned crest integrates symbols reflecting the club's identity and community ties. The fox's head represents Foxrock, symbolising agility and local pride. St. Brigid's Cross signifies the club’s roots in Cabinteely and its community values. Three stars, inspired by the Moran family crest, illustrate resilience and align with the club’s motto, "shine in darkness." The football and sliotar highlight the club’s dedication to Gaelic sports and nurturing local talent.
I worked with club members to ensure the crest reflected the club's heritage and aspirations. This iterative process involved developing and refining multiple design drafts based on feedback. The final design, approved by the club’s board and members, blends tradition with contemporary elements, inspiring current and future generations.

"It was a pleasure working with Barry on the redesign of our club crest. From the very beginning, he understood the importance of honouring our club’s heritage while creating something modern and versatile. The result was more than just a crest — Barry provided us with a full visual identity system that we’re proud to use across all our teams and materials. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking to elevate their brand or redesign their logo."
